Description

This Excellent Vacation Home is of the Excellent Standard category. The villa is situated close to Osceola Parkway, exiting from the SR417 (Greeneway), and therefore only minutes to the Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World theme parks and some of the world’s best golf courses. There are supermarkets and dining (both formal and informal) close by too. Everything you could possibly need really is close at hand. This villa offers free high-speed internet (wired and Wi-Fi) plus free local, long-distance and international phone calls.

The villa has plenty extras to make your stay very enjoyable. It has been furnished to a good standard. When entering the villa, you find the living room straight ahead and the dining area (6 seats) to your left. Next to the dining area there is a well fitted kitchen with breakfast bar. From the dining area you see the family room with digital flat screen TV, DVD player and VCR.

The open kitchen includes a full size oven, built-in microwave, large fridge-freezer with ice-maker, waste disposal unit and dishwasher. There is also a full range of electrical appliances and utensils – pretty much everything you could want in your home away from home.

Both the living room and family room offer access (through the sliding patio doors) to the inviting swimming pool, overlooking the large pond behind it. Pool deck chairs and sun loungers allow for late night, pool side relaxing. This house features a bonus, third bathroom, accessible from the pool area only, with vanity, shower and toilet. The pool can be heated on request, at an extra cost. Spa as seen in photos is feature only, not a hot tub.

On the right size of the house you will find the master bedroom with King Bed, cable TV, walk-in closet and the en suite bath room, with dual vanity, garden tub, walk-in shower and separate toilet. The next bedroom has 2 Single beds and cable TV with a DVD player. The third bedroom has a Queen bed with cable TV. These last two bedrooms each have a closet and share the second bathroom, which has a vanity, shower tub and toilet. All bedrooms feature ceiling fans, in addition to the central AC. The villa is fully air conditioned for those very hot days and has reverse air for those colder days.

The laundry room is located next to the kitchen and has a full size washer and dryer. Iron and ironing board are present too. Through the laundry room you have access to the 2 car garage.

It was in great location, friendly neighborhood, it was as described, it was clean and lots of room, although which colour garbage bins to put out would have been helpful and spare garbage bags, also the place needs some dusting, the pictures on the walls, ceiling fans need cleaning, the lights hanging over the table needs cleaning, the curtains needs washing, and all those plastic plants need to go in garbage, just dust collecters, pool was great! Location great! Great restaurants near by! Definitely would stay again! But it does need a good deep cleaning!

Great location and spacious property. Pool area is the highlight. Pool furniture is old and worn needs replacing. Inside needs decorating and upgrade. We were however overall happy with our stay price was reasonable and from pictures we knew before going a rather dated property. Management company great with communication.

Outdoor pool and outdoor dining area of this home are fantastic. The rest of the home needs some upgrades.. One of the patio doors would not work, some electrical plugs didn't work, garage was full of junk, there were birds nesting on the roof near the covered lanai where the leaves and small limbs from a nearby tree have built up. This home is is a nice location and has a great layout, it just needs some TLC nothing a handyman couldn't fix in a week or so..

The interior of the house was very, very dated and dirty. Pillows, bed sheets, towels were old and not clean. Hair from previous guests were on the beds and pillows. One friend resorted to spreading her cloths on her bed and sleeping on her cloths. Lots of artificial plants all covered with dust. Only thin drapes so the bedrooms get bright early. Old CRT tvs but didn't seem to work. 3 bathroom but the truth is one bathroom is outside the main house and actually is in the pool house, the toilet in it didn't work. Outside of the house needs proper cleaning. I would NEVER stay there again or recommend. After this I'm not sure if I'll even use VRBO again.

We were two families and the house was perfect for us. The pool was great and we really enjoyed it. The property manager was very helpful and did everything to our satisfaction. The house was clean and everything you could need in the household was there. The house was spotless and we really enjoyed our time there. We can only recommend this house and would rent it again at any time.

Das Haus ist riesig, war - bis auf die Kunststoffpflanzen – sehr sauber. Waschmaschine, Trockner und Geschirrspüler waren top.
Pool war auch super sauber. Die Verwaltung, Rem, war top.
Fazit: Wir fahren wieder hin.

Anmerkung: Die Sofas sind teilweise abgenutzt bis zerschlissen, hat uns nicht gestört, da wir immer am Pool waren. Die Auflagen von 2 Poolliegen sind auch komplett hinüber, 2 neue Liegen ohne Auflagen sind vorhanden.
Das Haus liegt in Flughafennähe, ca. 16 km, man hört schon immer ein paar Flugzeuge, ebenso ist hinter dem See eine zweispurige Strasse. Sehr lärmempfindliche Menschen könnten sich gestört fühlen. Wir wohnen in Deutschland in flughafennähe, uns hat das auch nicht gestört. insgesamt 9 von 10 Sternen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Good location, but house was VERY outdated. There were small bugs/mites all over the kitchen counters and on the dining room table, rugs were stained, kitchen pots and pans were gross and old and scratched so much that we had to buy our own, bathroom shampoo and conditioner were used and only half full, vents were filled with dust, blinds were broken, only 1 roll of toilet paper for each bathroom, very low stock on towels and wash clothes for 6 people to use, outside bathroom toilet did not flush, and pool furniture was so old and warn that the material stuck to our bathing suits and was sticking our skin. This could have been a great home if there were some attention paid to it by updating furniture, getting an exterminator, a good cleaning, and fixing cabinets, blinds and toilets. the pool was nice and being on the pond gave it some great outdoor atmosphere, but it just needs help. The owner was really quick to respond and very nice, when we got locked out on our last day there and helped us get back in the house quickly.

This house is one that the pictures may fool you but our group would suggest you stay out of the airport flight path and the highway with the loud rice bunners speeding on the road day and night I suggest you keep looking.

We stayed in this home for a month. Great location. Close to airport, shopping and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. Loved the pool and lanai. Great variety of birds that hang around the big trees and pond. The house spacious, clean and comfortable. Easy check in. We have used this rental company a couple of other times. Highly recommend.

We loved the styled home with a lot of room. Working with Rem was very easy when we called him with a few things that needed repaired or replaced. I do have to say, the home inside and outside needs a lot of repair and replacement of several things. The cushions for the lounge chairs needs to be thrown out. Pool area needs cleaned very much. The sliding doors in the 3 areas were great but 2 out of the three were very hard to open. The blinds did get replaced when we called to let Rem know we did not have the privacy we needed because of the missing or broken blinds. Furniture needs replaced in family room as the sofas showed wear and tare. The pots and pans need replaced. We had to clean so many things before we could use them. The outside landscaping needed trimed and weeds removed. It had a two car garage, but with so much stuffed in the garage we could not use the garage at all. Plus, no garage opener. Sad. We enjoyed the area and the home, but very disappointed the pictures you see of this residence did not reveal the real condition of the home.

Well...For it being a last minute vacation it was perfect for us. My two kids loved the pool. Price was decent for it being the week of Christmas. The property is in a residential neighborhood not in a tourist area. A bit noisy at night with cars blasting music driving by and neighbors shooting fireworks all night. Not sure if it was purposefully done or if that's how it is every night. Property may need a new house keeper. Had hair in drain, which was kind nasty. Master bedroom jacuzzi tub was dirty. Didn't use dishes and utensils. House could be cleaned better since we are in a pandemic. Neighbors used outside trash can to put their trash will be most of the trash in there. They take it to the curve on trash days. There is also a big German Shepherd next door. Barks sometime and just happen to come out everytime we were in the pool. Dont be alarmed of the screaming sounds in the morning. It's the muscovy ducks that stop by every morning. Overall It was a cool place.

the house and pool were very clean. wifi was good and we had plenty of room. the kitchen was well stocked with dishes. the management company was very easy to deal with. the only thing that might need some improvement is a new stove, dishwasher and washing machine.

My family and I had a great stay at this rental home. The property managers were extremely responsive any time I contacted them. The house is very nice and clean and has all the amenities you would need. Some of the furniture is quite dated and needs replacing but that is really my only complaint. The pool is great, nice and big and the pool area has sun all day long. There is also a large shaded area if you want a break from the sun. Overall a very nice place to stay.

Great location, easy access to everything! Ballroom dance scene in the area vibrant and fun.
Disney and other attractions nearby, too.

Things to fix:
Property needs an upgrade in the furniture, falling apart, and wobbly. I'd like six chairs at the table. Dishes in cabinets not clean, seemed like they were run through dishwasher without using soap. Garbage disposal had broken glass in it, I fixed that. Carpet is light colored, and should be cleaned more often, shows all the dirt. Overall, I liked the property, and will rent it again in the future.

Very nice and clean house. Especially the outside area with the big pool was wonderful. Lots of space, plenty of tv channels, washer and dryer keeped us with clean and dry. Only the dishwasher was old and noisy. We will definitely recommend this lovely home to others.

Ir felt like we had our own home while on vacation instead of a hotel room. The kitchen was very nice, allowing us to cook many of our own meals instead of eating out the whole time. Kids loved the pool. Overall nice location, very pleasant experience.

The moment we walked through the door we were amazed at how beautiful this home was. The pool was crystal clear and nice to hang out in after a long hot day. The house is in a nice community and not far from stores which was convenient. The only down side to the house would be the master bedroom bed it was hard as a rock which was disappointing.

Many guests enjoy the somewhat firmer mattresses, and the great thing about these is that they remain comfortable for many years, whereas the cheaper, very soft mattresses often found in other vacation homes tend to quickly loose all of their support, making them almost impossible to sleep on. It was a good stay. There are some things in the house that should be updated. The linens are old, the stove has two burners that don't work correctly, the bathroom door doesn't close properly, and the beds are hard. I would probably stay again but would like a more updated house. The pool area was the best part about the house.

House was great,and very clean. Great for large family or maybe two. Fantastic view.
It was a little loud with the highway behind the house but not really bad.
Down side is every thing is an extra. House doesn't come with a BBQ, that's an extra. Pool is not heated that's an extra. And both are not cheap. Approximately $200us for 4 days.

The property description was accurate, the layout was bigger than pics suggested. And the view/pool was great!
However, the amenities, furniture and (closet)doors were old and not clean. Dirt/stains on the surfaces and towels, sticky dining table, and torns in the lining of the sofa's.
Unfortunately there was a terrible clogging and flooding of the sewage, the last afternoon. The kitchen and laundry room were a dirty pool. But EVH and their handy-man reacted very quickly and helpfull.
I would recommend this property to a relative, but the price compared to the old state of the house and interiour is not in balance. In retrospective I really paid too much for this house.

We loved our time here. The location, style of property, pool, comfortable beds, big fridge, neighbours, view of the wildlife, supermarket nearby and an easy drive from either airport. The location might not suit everyone. But we liked watching the American vehicles on the small road and the occasional aeroplane above. The only negative comment might be that the bathrooms could use a deep clean and the shower heads up dating. We had a great time. Thank you.

I loved the home and the location it is at. We rented this home for a month As for the house it is in need of some tender loving care. Furniture is getting dated and home could have some painting. But don’t take this the wrong way. Everything worked and we had no problems. The pool area is the showcase of this property and we spent a lot of our time-out by the pool. Would I rent this again absolutely

This was a trip with four guys for the PGA Merchandise Show. The place overall was perfect for what we needed it for. Basically a place to sleep and shower as we were busy playing golf and attending the show and functions all week for four guys. If I would have booked this place for my family to stay in, my wife wouldn't have been happy as the master bathroom was covered in small aunts on the sinks, toilet area and shower. Also, we used the garage to store our golf travel bags. The garage was a complete mess with cockroaches crawling all over the floor.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at the Anhinga residence. It was a great location between my nephew's home and the local area attractions. The house was very clean, neat, well-appointed and well-laid out. Décor was definitely dated and furniture worn in spots. A few extras in the kitchen would have been welcome, like paper plates, seasonings, coffee filters, ice.

The home was a great location for parks and shopping. The pool was great. It was very spacious with a deep end and shallow. Lots of room for the family to be in at the same time. The home had everything we needed. Some of the furniture was dated and could be replaced to make the inside more appealing but it served the purpose for our stay. We also liked that you could reach someone at any time if something went wrong. Customer service was great.

Nice size for 2 couples. Prompt response when things needed fixing. The furniture all needs replacing. Suggestion, paint all the light furniture a high gloss black.

Granted, some of the furniture's design is dated, but all is in good working condition. The home owner gradually changes out furniture pieces, as the need arrises. We gladly provided that carpet clean as discussed upon your arrival. The previous guest had stayed for over a month and departed the morning of your arrival day, unfortunately not giving us enough time to do the needed carpet clean. We therefore planned this with you, on a day that you were out and about until late evening (allowing the carpet to dry after the steam clean). Loved the house it was enough space for 5 adults. We really had a good time. I loved the mattress, no backache. The service was great .. we had a problem with the flush .. I wrote a mail in the morning.. after we returned in the evening it was already repaired. We plan to stay there again in one of our next vacations

The booking, payment and information provision process was faultless. The accommodation provided was as advertised, in a good neighbourhood with excellent connections. The property was well equipped and maintained.

The only area for improvement was with regard to the information provided at the property. It was a list of warnings and consequences and left us concerned about touching anything! I appreciate that laws regarding pool alarms etc are important but these messages can be delivered in a much more friendly way. Warnings about fines for leaving more than 1 bag of garbage seemed very heavy handed. If this was balanced with more guidance on where the local supermarkets are, good places to eat and local amenities that would have helped.

Overall very professional nut not as welcoming as we would of hoped. Providing Easter chocolate was a nice touch, perhaps some milk, bread and a few other basics for when people arrive late?

There's lot of helpful infomation in there and many guests appreciate the many tips and recommendations, helping them get the maximum out of their vacation home stay. If a guest is unaware of the garbage pick up schedule, we may often find up to 6-7 full trash bags upon departure with no place to go with them. The many co-operating guests help keeping the home clean when trash is put out on the days identified in the welcome book, leaving only 1-2 bags behind in the outside trash bin, for the cleaners to take. Taking your feedback to heart, we will definitely review the current wording in the welcome book and adjust where needed. Thank you again and we look forward to welcoming you in the future.

We just spent 8 nights at the Anhinga residence. The home is spacious, and the management team was fantastic during our visit.

The furniture and appliances could use some updating. You can tell they are getting worn out.

We had a great vacation in this great home it was big and lots of room the pool was great my kids loved it not to far ftom all parks and flea markets wich i love ,lots of towels and kitchen supplys to use . The only thing i had trouble with was the grill that i rented it was dirty and when asked to get another one they came bit only clean but not clean proper was not able to use but o know this is a different company that they rent from hopefully i can get money back for that. Overall very happy will def rent again from them . Thanks

Garage was a mess, pool really needs cleaned and filled weekly rather than every other week, furniture beginning to show wear & tear, kitchen appliances could be upgraded. The pool was dirty when we arrived and was cleaned the afternoon before we were leaving. To us, this was unacceptable. Overall, however, we did feel very comfortable there since it fit our needs perfectly and we did enjoy our stay.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the house overall but we are a bit disappointed to only learn through your review that the pool needed cleaning sooner than actually took place. Please note that all our pools are cleaned and filled weekly, and we leave the fill hose running at a low flow to keep the pools filled during the week as the warm weather does cause the water to evaporate. From the looks of it we checked your pool 2 days before your arrival but the heavy rains on your arrival day must have caused dirt to wash into the pool. One phone call to the management office would have solved that the same day. Please call us during a next visit should anything not be up to par; we are here to make your stay enjoyable and should anything not be a 100% we will take care of it. We always gladly assist in any way we can. We have just replaced the dated microwave for a brand new one so that is taken care of too. Thank you again and we do look forward to welcoming you again in the future.

we enjoyed every day of our stay my wife loved the house,kids nd I loved the pool I`m going back for sure,everithing is within 15min drive,parks little more.I just have one concern for my next stay the pool tiles need some attention specially if kids going to b in it.the little kids bed was very useful for us.

We enjoyed our stay at the Anhinga residence. Pros: the home was clean and located in a safe neighborhood. The house had a really comfortable feel to it; we felt at home immediately. The view of the lake from the back patio pool area was wonderful. Cons: garage parking was not available; a tropical storm came through during our stay and it would have been nice to be able to utilize a garage. Pool was nice but really needs resurfacing and the master bed was too firm for our taste. If you're looking for a comfortable place to stay in Kissimmee, this should be on your list.

We have enjoyed timeshares in the past and have owned one,and appreciated the opportunity to go to different places and not have to stay in a hotel. This year we decided to do different and chose to go the home rental route. It was nice to have a place to yourself and still enjoy the privacy of your own pool to where you could swim anytime you wanted and didn't have to worry whether the pool was closed or not. There were plenty of linens and a fully stocked kitchen. A few things that we feel need to be given attention to is/was that the cane on the back of one of the dining room chairs was almost busted through and the decor was somewhat outdated. The TV in the Master bedroom died and we called for maintenance and the the man in charge was quite prompt in responding and very pleasant but the TV needed to be replaced and we did not receive it back before leaving. But, this was not a major major problem because there were three other tvsoverall

As th e decor is clearly visible on the listing pictures for each vacation home we feel we are transparent about it but the feedback is taken to heart as home owners will take it into account when considering upgrade investments for their vacation home. The location of the Anhinga Residence is very pleasant, because the neighborhood is quiet. You can also observe many animals and can reach many attractions within a few minutes there. The furniture is functional, but unfortunately a bit dated. It would be nice to see some new furniture in the future.

The house was perfect for our week in Florida. The house is in a great location overlooking a pond with ducks and wildlife. Its located close to shopping and highways and Disney if that's your plans. We enjoyed getting up and having breakfast,lunch and dinner by the pool escaping the Michigan cold winter. Hanging out at the pool and relaxing was our weeks plan. This house is clean and well equipped for a family vacation. As some of the previous reviews pointed out its not perfect, and everyone has different taste in furniture & décor. What's great is its clean home where you can feel free enjoy your stay and relax at a great value. We will be booking it again next year if its available for our time. Rental property was very nice. House was in very good condition except there were a lot of dead bugs on the inside window ledges. We were travelling with a 1.5 year old so we had to vacuum the area. When we were leaving we vacuumed the carpet and found garbage under the chesterfield from a previous renter. Also when we removed the sheets as instructed upon departure there were food crumbs under the sheets. The area around the pool needs to be pressure washed.

Our family tradition is to visit Disney, and we stayed at this location in 2010. We love the pool and that Disney is close enough that we can come back and eat and swim. The property is gorgeous and in a good location... The pool was a plus as well... Updated furniture and appliances are needed also bathrooms but other then that it was a great stay... The last morning that we were there, a roach crawled by that was the only time that I seen a roach (yuck) ants baby ants were in the smaller bathroom as well. Other than that it was great!

This home was perfect for our stay. The house alone was just beautiful, clean and had everything we need to feel at home. I plan on booking another home soon for my next trip to Florida.
