Description

This Excellent Vacation Home is of the Excellent Superior category. The villa is situated close to Osceola Parkway, exiting from the SR417 (Greeneway), and therefore only minutes to the Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World theme parks and some of the world’s best golf courses. There are supermarkets and dining (both formal and informal) close by too. Everything you could possibly need really is close at hand. This villa offers free high-speed internet (wired and wireless) plus free local and long-distance calling within the United States and Canada.

The villa has plenty extras to make your stay very enjoyable. It has been furnished to a very good standard. When entering the villa, you find the living room with cable TV straight ahead and the dining area to your right. Past the dining area there is a well fitted kitchen with view onto the breakfast nook and family room. From the family room you have access to the down stairs bedroom with Full bed (and baby cod if needed). Across from this bedroom you will find the bathroom with vanity, shower and toilet.

The open kitchen includes a full size oven, counter-top microwave, large fridge-freezer with ice-maker, waste disposal unit and dishwasher. There is also a full range of electrical appliances and utensils – pretty much everything you could want in your home away from home.

Both the living room and family room offer access (through the sliding patio doors) to the inviting swimming pool, overlooking the very large pond behind it. Pool deck chairs and sun loungers allow for late night, pool side relaxing. The pool is warmed up by direct sunlight only. Additional pool heating is not available at this time.

The family room houses an entertainment center which has cable TV, a DVD and VCR player, as well as a music center playing radio and CDs.

Upstairs you will find 3 more bedrooms. The master bedroom with King Bed is on the left, with large walk-in closet and the en suite bath room, with dual vanity, garden tub, large walk-in shower and separate toilet. This bedroom has cable TV and DVD player. The next bedroom has 2 Single beds, the one thereafter has a Full bed. These last two bedrooms each have a closet and share the third bathroom, which has a vanity, shower and toilet.

Downstairs again there is a laundry room, where the washing machine and dryer are located. Iron and ironing board are present too. Through the laundry room you have access to the 2 car garage.

As Excellent Vacation Homes is the local management company looking after this property 365 days a year, any technical or other issue is usually prevented before it even gets a chance to develop. But, our 24-hour cover service is always available should you require it during your stay. The villa is fully air conditioned for those very hot days and has reverse air for those colder days.

What a great experience we had.. This was our first time renting a home for vacation, I was nervous about what we’d find when we got to this Florida home.. The house is in average condition for its age. The interior is dated. We had ants the first day and needed to go to the store to get spray but the management company did have the pest control out the very next morning first thing. Cannot comment on the pool as we did not use it. Basically used it for a place to sleep only.
Advice- Bring your own pillows!
For an average older house that doesn't break the bank I would recommend but don't expect much.

Very lovely home with lots of space. Pool and lake in back yard are nice and comfortable. Would stay again if in the area. Only issue for us was distance to theme parks, but with rental car it wasn't such an issue. If I were staying and not doing theme parks, it would be a very relaxing and great, safe location.

Our rental was very easy to find. The house is very spacious. You can see alot of improvements have been done with many still needed. Unfortunately renting to a variety of people you get families who do not take care and have already damaged some of the newer improvements. It was very easy to get to theme parks and shopping. With continued upgrades and TLC this would be a very beautiful home. Overall for cleanliness and house supplies(condition) 7 out of 10. Unfortunately like I said some people who rent are disrespectful of property.

This house was perfect for our getaway. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be out of the mix, but close enough to get there fast! The house was very clean. It had wear and tear expected with any VRBO, but the beds were comfortable and the pool was refreshing!

My family had a great experience. The house is in a great location. It comes equipped with a security system so you can feel safe at night. The best part about the house was the pool in the back. It's inside a screen house and set in front of a nice pond. We caught several beautiful sunsets back there. My only real issue with the house was the bed in the master suite. It was super hard, and felt like we were sleeping on a rock. So my only suggestion would be to update the mattress. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I would definitely stay there again.

Some of the Blinds over the windows/doors were damaged. The bathroom doors were hard to close. Several light fixtures did not work. Upon arrival, there were ants all over the kitchen sink and stove. (I had pictures)

Hi Jorge, thank you very much for your review and constructive feedback. We are truly sorry you found dust in the house. Prior to your stay, the ground floor's carpet was replaced for a brand new tile floor. We of course cleaned and dusted afterwards, but apparently not thoroughly enough. There must have been more dust in the air and maybe ducts, settling down after the cleaning still. This is now resolved. Firmness of mattresses is very much a personal preference varying greatly from guest to guest. Many people love everything about this house, and our other houses, but occasionally we hear from guests the mattresses are either too firm, or too soft, at times both these comments for one and the same home... We hope we may welcome you back next time you visit the area!

We were generally pleased with our stay at the Wimbledon. Just a couple things came up. The screen around the pool was torn when we arrived but was repaired the next day. The mattresses definitely need to be replaced and the coffeemaker was not working. The carpets could use some cleaning. We were pleased to see that some carpets had been replaced with tile. Very Nice. We did enjoy the pool and the ducks that came to visit. As this was our first time with a vacation rental home we were quite pleased with the result and would do it again.

The house was great! Very nice home!.but it is by far the worst kept home I've ever stayed in. I go to Orlando 3 times a year to visit my daughter who works and lives there. This was the first time I ever used this company and stayed in this house. The over all house was nice but very dirty, beds are horrible. And I mean horrible. So if you want to stay in a cheap home and you don't care about filth and back problems from the beds this is your house.

We stayed here for a quick respite for the Wisconsin winter. The house is 'nice'. The bathrooms could have been cleaner, as well as the kitchen. The carpeting in the upstairs and the downstairs bedroom is in serious need of replacing. The beds were very noisy. We were afraid to move so as not to wake anyone up. The furniture is functional but in need of a cleaning; who knows what those stains are from.

If you are choosing to use this home as you would a hotel and it's no more than a room to sleep in, than it works well. If you are intending to spend your entire vacation on property, look somewhere else.

The house its so good, beautiful place, good price. The only problem its the beds are too noise....you move a little and its making noise, but its the only problem. Good swimming pool, good internet, just there block away you can find tennis court, basket, etc.

This house is at a great location. It's quiet and beautiful. However, the inside needs a little bit more of tender and love. It was cleaned on the surface. Vacuum did not work, some towels were stained. Furniture needs to be replaced. Sofa is ripped and soiled. Pots and pans are scratched badly...they should be replaced as well. Also, an exterminator should be hired as soon as possible. The pool's screen was broken and although the repair men fixed two of them, they still left one untouched. As far as the place, overall, it was nice and spacious. I love the layout. Beautiful lake scene from the Master bedroom and living rooms. With a little bit more care, this home could be much better!

Very good property. Clean and very comfortable. Beds were a little squeaky, but still comfortable. Our only complaint was the distance to Disney. It is advertised as well under 30 minutes and no matter the route, we could not get to Disney in less than 50 minutes. So, if you are going to Disney, be prepared for nearly 2 hours of driving.

Great size house. Two living rooms, both with access to the pool area. Good sized kitchen, though minimal items for cooking (bring your own). The bedrooms were also a good size while the Master was huge. I would recommend staying here.

I didn't expect to have to kill 2 cockroaches during a 5 night stay! Im not a complainer and for the price my expectations were pretty low.
The house is dated (and that's fine) but the beds are even more dated and terrible! The coffee maker didn't work, the toilet on the main floor was leaking and the stove top didnt work properly either (front right burner stopped working half way through cooking my eggs just in case someone reads this and wants to fix it!).
Avoiding toll roads made the 25 minute drive to Universal over 45 mins everyday!

That leaking toilet bowl was fixed by a plumber as soon as we read your online review. Also, please note all our properties are on a quality pest control program and any time a guest would find a live roach (hardly ever happens, yet this is still Florida) the pest control company will gladly come out to do an extra, courtesy treatment. Thank you again for your review. We look forward to welcoming you and your group again in the future, also if you prefer a different, more modern home.

Family and friends stayed at this house for the weekend to celebrate my birthday and to de-stress from work. It had been an amazing stay. Everthing we needed was there. The pool is great too with the view of the small lake. The neighborhood was quiet which was great. The rooms were all clean. The house was huge for 8 people! I'd rent the house again. All in all we had a great stay in the house.
On our check-out, the management were very helpful as the moment I locked the door we realized we forgot a cellphone. They were able to let us in after calling. Thank you so much.

The property was clean and well appointed and its location was perfect for an event at Osceola heritage Park. However the beds were unbelievable. The mattresses were old to the point of no longer offering any support. It sounded like a squeaky toy every time you sat moved even adjusted the covers in the bed. I would not recommend staying at this home until they replaced the mattresses

The house is located in a clean, quiet area. The house is very clean, and very well equipped. internet fast and everywhere reception. The pool is clean and the pool service takes care of it. everything is available in the kitchen. great new fridge! about the agency. The agency is fast, easy and reliable. You get all the info on time and questions are answered quickly. Thanks a lot for this! two small mistakes: the bed in the floor above is incredibly loud. and in the bathroom below, the flooring will chip off. But these are really the only negative things in this great house. We did not have a single cockroach or other vermin in the whole house! We will certainly book again through the agency, thank you for our great holiday

Overall the rental was very nice. A little dirty (walls and blinds were falling down) but overall I would rent again. My biggest complaint was that the beds were outdated and horrible to sleep on. You could not roll over with out making noise. Driving distance to Disney was a little to far for my liking, 30 minutes without traffic if you use all the toll roads.

We drove up to a beautiful home.. Unlocked the door with ease to be hit with 80 degree temps. We tried to turn the thermostat down but it didn't work. The heat was actually running! I called the number to the repairman to be told they would be out to the house sometime between 6pm & 10pm. Well, we were tired we had been on the road 24 hours thinking we could relax by the pool and cook a meal. Nope, we had to leave, it was too hot to be in the house. So back on the road we went. You should know, being from the North 72 degrees is still warm. The A/C does NOT go below that setting! We had to buy fans to be comfortable. The pool was cold, there is NO heater at this home, although we didn't know that when we rented it (we found out 2 days prior when we requested the heat be turned on for our vacation). The walls are really beat up, there was a 5 gallon bucket of trash tipped over in the garage and the carpets need to be cleaned or removed. We managed to enjoy our vacation but spent as little time as possible in the house. I'll be sure to dig a bit deeper into the home we rent for vacation next year. This was my first time using this rental company and I can't say I was over joyed. They are difficult to get a hold of when trying to make reservations and I never had one message returned. I had to call them back the following business day.

P.S. Bring your own trash bags, and for the love of God, don't forget to take the trash can to the curb (there are notes all over the house about it) or you'll be charged extra! Over all, nice location, poor quality home, it could use a good coat of paint, a really good cleaning and some TLC.

P.S.S. The master king size bed is just as hard as sleeping on the cement patio!

Wimbledon Retreat is situated in a pleasant location, which is convenient both to Orlando International Airport and to the theme parks (i.e. a drive of about half an hour). The property is clean and well-maintained. Although the furnishings are reasonably basic, that is acceptable in a vacation home. Overall, my wife and daughters (aged 10 and 8) were very happy with the property (and with our holiday).

She is getting enough protein without, right? ;-) As discussed, always bear in mind that leaving food open on the kitchen counter is best not done in our tropical climate. All our homes are treated regularly by pest control (a necessity in Florida) but unfortunately that still does not guarantee that one will not see any bug at all. Those sugar ants are typically attracted by fresh fruits, crumbs, etc. left on floors and counters, as you found out from close by. Firmness of mattresses is always a very personal matter but based on the overall picture from reviews left by our guests they are comfortable to most. We hope you understand. Our group was very happy with the house and location of house. We were able to see all the attractions without having to drive very far. I would recommend this home and the management company to anyone staying in the Disneyland area. Also if you like horses see Arabian Knights dinner show. This show was amazing, the food and the people that put this show on were great. This was one of the best values in town and not to be missed. We are looking forward to planning our next trip and will certainly book with Excellent Vacation Homes.

Every year a bunch of us get together and this year we opted for a rental house. I am very pleased with the house. Plenty of room for all 7 of us. Kitchen was very spacious and clean. The pest control guys came to clean up some wasp nest early in the morning, so I had them set a sugar any trap in the down stairs bathroom. No big deal, it was great to see that another crew communicated with the main office to have the issue taking care of. The only downer of the house is the mattress/beds and pillows are not the most comfortable and squeak. But I would stay there or any other house with this company.

Simply the best place we have been in any vacationhome.. Enormous house with nice pool, and wiew to a fantastic lake vith ducks and many rare birdspecies visiting us every morning at the poolside. Quiet neighborhood, and easy to visit the parks, and good shopping close by.. Would go back to this house if we visit this area again.

The experience was good, house great size. Back yard lanai was very relaxing. With help of solar blanket got the pool to a use able temperature
Interior a little worn, carpet especially downstairs should be replaced with something you can clean.

Our family stayed here for our vacation and were happy to see that the home was exactly as pictured on the site. We enjoyed the pool and the birds that visited us every day. The area was very quiet and we really enjoyed watching all the fireworks that surrounded us on the July 4th! We had a few issues that were dealt with fairly promptly, however I would suggest that a pool scoop be left at the house for future guests, as well the mattresses should be updated especially in the master bedroom. Also, the carpet is very worn and stained in downstairs area off rec room and should probably be replaced with tile or flooring as it is a high traffic area and patio door off the rec room leaked when we had a lot of rain. Overall a nice place to stay, a little far out if you are headed to the parks as traffic is always an issue with the construction going on in that area.

My vacation house was completely blessed since my family came along and Excellent Vacation Home property has fulfilled the job as well by making the place well-equipped. However, the house just needed a swimming pool heater and renewed furniture including the beds. Other than that the place was fantastically fantastic.

Nice designed house, in need of serious maintenance. Clean, nice located, ++ pool.
Screens at house, pool area, beds, carpet, rain leaking in at sliding doors all desperitaly in need of maintenance. Very private, in the end a home away from home.

It was perfect for what our family needed. I would stay there again. The pool was clean and a must have. It was close to everything we needed the parks, grocery stores, etc. Very quick to fix any issues.
The furniture could use a update and carpet could be replaced.

the house was stocked with everything we needed. So much space that everyone had their own rooms and space which made for a peaceful vacation! The pool overlooked a pond which was favorite view to start and end every day. Overall it was a fantastic place to call home temporarily!!
