Description

This Excellent Vacation Home is of the Excellent Superior category. The villa is situated on a quiet corner lot (with pond view) in the Bridgewater subdivision of Davenport, alongside the Ronald Reagan Park road (Co Rd 54). The location is about 4 miles south from the intersection of the 429 (Toll road) with the Interstate 4 (I4). It is therefore only minutes to the Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World theme parks plus some of the world’s best golf courses. There are supermarkets and dining nearby. This villa offers free 100MB high-speed internet (cable and Wi-Fi) plus free local and long-distance calling within the United States and Canada.

The villa has been furnished to a very good standard. When entering the villa you step from the hallway into the spacious family room, with music center, flat screen TV with digital cable and DVD player. The formal dining area is right next to this family room. On your left hand you will find the well-equipped, semi-open kitchen. Next to the kitchen you will find a breakfast nook. The one downstairs bedroom is found on the right side of the villa, accessible from the hallway. This bedroom has a Queen bed, cable TV and a closet. The bathroom right next to it has a vanity, shower and toilet.

Once upstairs, you will find the second bedroom with 2 Single beds and a closet. Next to this you will find the bathroom with one vanity, shower and toilet. This bathroom is shared with the next bedroom that also has 2 Single beds and a closet, plus cable TV. Last but not least, you will find to the right the Master bedroom with King bed, large walk-in closet and the en suite bathroom with dual vanity, large garden tub, walk-in shower and toilet. This room too has cable TV and a 32" flat screen TV.

The villa is fully air conditioned for those very hot days and has reverse air for the few colder days.

The semi-open kitchen is well fitted. It includes a full size oven, counter top microwave, large fridge-freezer with ice-maker, waste disposal unit and dishwasher. There is also a full range of electrical appliances and utensils – pretty much everything you could want in your home away from home.

Near the dining area, through the sliding patio doors, you have access to the inviting pool area, with a great view onto the large pond which is lined with tall trees behind it. Pool deck chairs allow for late night, pool side relaxing. The pool & hot tub can be heated separately, which is optional, at an extra cost.

There is also a washing machine and dryer in the villa, which are located in the laundry closet next to the breakfast area. Iron and ironing board are present too.

pool was great spa was great house beds were hard and old no tv in one of the bedrooms window were dirty couch was dirty tables were old my back hurt all awhile i was there due to the old and nasty mattress the comforters smelled like sweat in need of serious upgrade outdoor furniture was ripped and worn out windows were dirty garage need sweeping out could use pool table or something for recreation in there

My family had a wonderful time.The rental location was close to all attractions.The pool and jacuzzi were perfect. Master bedroom bed could be updated but not too bad.The two alligators in the pond were an added attraction. The home itself was clean and served our needs with no problems. Communication with any questions was prompt. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Florida. I recommend this rental to any family looking for a perfect getaway.

This home is in a great spot in the neighborhood. The home is large and the amount of space was great. It needs a deep cleaning. The vent to the air conditioner was filthy. The light switches and plugs were very dirty. The beds and the living room furniture were not comfortable. We had to have service people come in four time to repair things. If the owners spent a bit of money with maintenance, this place would be great. I realize that it is a rental, but I shouldn’t need to clean when we arrive. If it was updated, and cleaned better I would recommend it.

Very nice, location great, I've always wanted to see an alligator somewhere other than, zoo and the pond across the road has two in it and we saw one lol!! The only thing we needed was a skimmer to clean bugs out of the pool!! We will definitely rent again!! 5�� property

The Best Vacation Home I would recommend this property to anybody who wants to take a vacation or you just want to get away,but the only thing is its hard to get a cell phone signal in the house and the wifi is spoty other than that I would come back to this property

Nice place. There needs to be more towels and wash cloths. The pool needs repair and we paid for heat but the pool never got warm. Called maintenance and he really didn’t want to come to the house. Also the washer needs to be cleaned, it left white stains on our clothes. Other then those items, it’s a nice place.

We had a great time on our trip! This home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay while remaining affordable. I wish we could have used the hot tub and pool more, but it was too late when we realized you have to pay extra to heat both.

House was comfortable but the best thing was the pool area. Large and with an alligator and two very large birds to amuse us. We paid for pool heat and it was well worth it. Neighborhood was quiet and great to walk in. Only issue was the beds were uncomfortable. Would definitely rent again.

Spacious enough for 8-10 people. Two of the bedrooms with the twin beds worked for our older teenagers/younger adults but are really more suitable for younger children. The lenai with a private pool was awesome especially after spending a day ar Disney parks! The pool did get chili at night even though it was late July/early August so I would suggest paying extra for heating the pool. The kitchen appliances and counters were a little outdated but were more than adequate as we were not there to cook and eat much. There was not a grill that I could find at the property so no grilling pool side.

There is a pond across the street with an alligator and we did get to see it enjoying a meal (wild hog) as best as we could tell!

Disney Parks we’re about 10 miles away but depending on traffic could take about 30 minutes to drive.

I would stay there again because of the space and the outdoor pool area!

We’ve stayed in several VRBO properties all were as they were portrayed in their photos, not the case this time. The house and pool/patio are laid out nicely. It has a beautiful view out the back of the pond area. The neighborhood is quiet and the house has a very good security system. Although dated, it’s tastefully decorated and was very clean. However, there are issues. The AC filter was impacted with dust and dirt an inch thick. The house has a bad odor which permeated our belongings. It has structural issues...cracks in the outer wall of the house in the patio area with moss and ferns growing in the cracks...mildew and dirt everywhere. On the inside of the house the wall has water damage along the baseboards and the plaster board is deteriorating. The living room furniture is not the same as pictured and is very uncomfortable as are the beds in the upstairs master bedroom and the bedroom downstairs. The kitchen and dining tables and chairs are very rickety and rather beat up. Only half of the bi-fold doors on the laundry area hanging, the other half are leaning against the wall. Half of the vertical blinds in the dining area over the patio door are missing. Sadly the house is not as pictured in the photos and seems to be left to rack and ruin.

We rented the house because we we attending a conference in Orlando. Although the house is a bit of a drive (about 30 minutes) from the Orange County convention center (I-drive) it is worth the extra time.
The value for money is excellent with a heated pool and hot tub. Nice rooms and good beds.
Also the service from Excellent Vacation homes is great.

Our AC stopped working during a week of 90 + degree weather. Called Excellent Vacation Homes and left a message. Received a call back within 5 minutes and the repair man was there within the hour. We didn't have to wait for the repair man so we went to the parks. Came home to a COOL house. :) I would definitely rent from Excellent Vacation Homes again!!!!

We stayed at Bridgewater Retreat in March / April 2014. It was in a lovely quiet neighbourhood, great views of the alligator sunbathing in the lake across from the pool. A great location for the Disney parks too, being approx 10 / 15 mins door to door.
The property was in great repair and condition and had everything you needed to feel at home for your stay. Will definitely recommend this to friends and might even make a return visit soon.

The house was really nice and we had a pleasant stay. Just wasn't clean. We could see clearly the the cleaning job was not done. Just some make up.
Tre property managment company was very professional and able to help in case of any problem.
About the house just the kitchen could be a little more equiped.
Overall we did have a plesant time .
Definitly I would recomend and come back .

This was the first time renting a vacation home And we were very pleased. The only reason it didn't get all 5 stars on all things is that the master bed upstairs was very hard and the pillows were like bags of cement. ( very hard) When we need help a quick phone call and all was solved. Pool was awesome a little cold but nice anyways. Wish I looked over some of the paper work better to have the hot tub water hot. Would have been nice after both days at the parks If we ever visit back in the Orlando area we will rent agian. Thanks for the great stay.

We rented this home for 1 month March 2015 and received several guests.We were all very happy with the location of the property-close to Disney/Universal and the Orlando Int'l airport.The property was clean and in good working order.The location was ideal for us, as we like nature.The pond and woods next door gave us lots of wildlife to look at and enjoy.Most of all the management, Kris, was superb.They are attentive to our needs and acted immediately on the few requests we had.The neighborhood is friendly and clean.

Nice place. Only complaints were the frying pans were terrible, and the Cooking stove only had two burners working. Probably would have used the pool but $196 for one week was a bit pricey.

Overall this was great. A few small issues, but overall it was a great experience. I would have liked to be asked if I wanted the pool heated in advanced, not knowing it was optional. Also, I would have liked to park inside the garage (but this may not be standard so it's OK). The front door keypad was very hard to use, but not a huge issue either. Other than that, this BLEW away any hotel room. The privacy and multiple rooms made us feel like it was "our" home. We will certainly use again!

Our golf foursome enjoyed a delightful four night stay here. Comfortable, clean and close to good golf courses esp. Providence and Celebration. Helpful to have free telephone calls to Canada. Pleasant community to walk around in, short drive to Publix
and Applebees. Wildlife comes free (the alligator likes to sun himself on the far side of the pond).

We appreciate your opinion and to some extend your score for property cleanliness and location, as we agree this is a wonderful home, very popular as such, with many repeat guests each year. We feel it is not fair you claiming an employee of ours would have stolen money from your vacation home, as we have proof that this is incorrect. You called us to say that you had money hidden in your vacation home and that it was gone upon your return to the home later that day. We have immediately assisted you, recommended to reach out to the local Sheriff department, they came by to take your report, to inspect the property and they established that there was no sign of break in. We have proof from the activity log for our electronic door lock system that nobody came in through the front door during the hours you were absent. We provided that information to the Sheriff department too. Their conclusion: if there was money stolen from the property, it would have happened because a window, door or garage door was left unlocked when you left. When you responded that had not been the case, it was concluded someone from your party must have misplaced the money accidentally, and it would hopefully turn up sooner than later. This property has fully functioning locks on all doors and windows, and a 24/7 monitored alarm system (which you choose not to use during your absence that day), and we feel is therefore very secure. We regret that you feel different about this and hope you were able to retrieve the missing money at a later time, and would like to thank you again for staying with us.

The villa was in a good location on a nice estate, well placed for easy travel to the Parks and shopping Malls via the I4. The villa is a nice size and comfortable with all amenities needed for a vacation. We were pleased with the pool /lanai area which overlooked a lake where we'd occasionally sight a gator, turtles over the other side of the lake and we'd be visited by cute sand cranes which would be seen regularly around the estate. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of bedding and towels. The management team were very helpful prior to our arrival, answering all queries promptly and fully. A management team member called round prior to hurricane Matthew to make sure that we were aware of it and had taken correct precautions.

House was nice, great location to the parks. Pool was nice. We are a family who cooks a lot instead of eating out so the kitchen was a bit rough for us (no grill, no mixing bowls) but we made due with what was there. One day the microwave stopped working and we called the rental office, they came out right away and took care of the problem.

We had a very nice vacation at the parks. The house was OK, we paid a little extra and loved the heated pool. But this house did need some maintenance work, and a could use a very good cleaning. Ants were a real nuisance. Got into our cereal boxes, and covered Thanksgiving pies! Construction waist and old furniture left in garage. Several ligts were out, and a couple outlets didn't work. We've stayed in many rentals homes, and have never consider ourselves to be very picky people. It was a good home but the ants and unclean areas were enough to make us check out a day early and head home to NC.
Can't say I would use this home again, but the company staff were very friendly, and did what they could. Also we need to remember that a hurricane blew threw this area about 6 weeks earlier, so they may be trying to catch up on all the needed repairs in all the homes.

When I arrived it was very easy to find. Entry to the home was easy with the instructions that were provided. There were a couple minor issues and I called the office and they were taken care of within 24 hrs. All one has to d is read the provided binder of information provided and it spells it out from check-in to check-out. The property was well maintained and the home in great shape. I would recommend this company to any and all my friends. As a matter of fact I can't wait to visit Fl again and use this company to provide me housing. Chris was friendly and very eager to help with any issue I found.(only two minor ones). Highly recommend staying in this home and enjoying the great pool and hot-tub.

As an experienced FL renter for over 25 years, our overall stay was good. I would definitely consider other properties by this management company. They really offer great customer service. This is a large, well decorated home situated on corner lot. It is within easy driving between Davenport eateries and Disney plus Kissimmee area too. Convenient location is great. As compared to other properties we’ve stayed, the interior has minor dings and scrapes on walls where luggage was likely dragged that need TLC. There are a few amenities that could use updating. Although there were a lot of utensils in the kitchen we only found an odd collection of glassware. We would have appreciated some plastic glasses or plates for safe use around the pool. There were no pool towels either. We made do with bath towels but would have appreciated larger pool towels.
Appreciated the laundry but the washer was extremely noisy and the dryer took a long time to dry clothes. We also noticed that the vent hose was broken and actually open to house.
Since we’re from the north, we always look forward to having access to a pool and hot tub. We paid extra for pool heat but should have passed. The pool and spa are only heated to 86 degrees which rapidly cools during the night so we didn’t have a chance to enjoy it as much as we would have liked. While described as a hot tub/spa it was really just an extension of the pool with bubbles and too cool to enjoy. The first night we used the bubbles caused the water level to drop drastically in the spa area and move to the pool. We had to stop the bubbles and exit because the water level went nearly down to the jets. Lanai was nice but the screens need some TLC and patches. Some of the items I’ve addressed are minor and the house really is a good rental option for a large group. Four spacious bedrooms, three baths and plenty of community space too. Management calls were handled promptly and professionally.

My wife and I are both retired and decided to visit Florida once again to see the areas we had not seen when we visited with our children some years ago.
We found being located 2 miles or so from the I4 (exit 58)at Davenport south west of Orlando was very convenient for our purpose.
Our estate was very quiet and our vacation home was ideal for a relaxing vacation. I feel this property would suit both older visitors and young families as it is within easy reach of the many attractions Orlando has to offer and is easy to find just 30 minutes or so from the airport.
I feel the property itself has all that is required to make your stay comfortable whether eating at home with 2 Publix supermarkets for supplies within 2 miles or at a number of good local restaurants within 3 or 4 miles.
We very pleased with our location and we would recommend this property to our friends should they want to visit this area of Florida.

We felt sorry that you had to find that roach in the kitchen but do hope you understand that finding a rocach does not necessarily mean the house is not clean. In Florida climate even the cleanest of homes may still show a roach every now and then. The leaking AC was fixed shortly after your departure which took care of the unpleasant smell there too. The AC's drain pipe had simply come loose due to which water dripped onto the supporting cabinet and onto the floor. We sure hope we may welcome you back next year!

The house is in a very nice location across from pond. It could have been cleaner, carpet was very dirty and the fans and vents had huge amounts of dust on them. We noticed that the door seal on bottom of front foor showed a gap allowing bugs in. Other than items mentioned, house was in good shape had all the amenities and was comfortable.

We have taken your feedback to heart and attended to the ceiling fans (it's amazing how quickly these can collect dust at times; the house went through a thorough deep clean only 1 month prior but depending on use the fans collect new dust quicker than we thought. As the cleaners are not allowed onto a ladder when in the house alone, we have added this item to our frequent technical inspection rounds to make sure they are kept clean. We have also replaced the front door bottom seal; thank you for bringing that to our attention. It was a small gap but indeed big enough for some bugs. rather keep those out ;-). Tha carpet is steam cleaned regularly; the spots you are referring to are really small discolorations from previous treatments on actual stains. So all clean, but discolored. Thanks again and we look forward to welcoming you again in the future.

Had a great time. House had everything we needed and the pool was very warm. Only gave the home a 4 star for condition because I think bathroom flooring could use replacement (torn on the sides). Thanks for letting us stay in your great house!

Point taken on the bathroom flooring; the owner had already agreed to have this work done, was just a matter of finding the 2-3 days of availability of the house to actually perform the work needed (floor needs to dry afterwards); will be done next week! House was great. Nice and clean and full furnished. Wish i would have got return email regarding temp of pool it needed heated to enjoy it. I didn't realized it was just screen in thought was glassed in. I would letting people know threw is a grocercy store nerby.

Sorry to hear about the pool heat; for each vacation home featuring a pool heater we ask our guests staying between October 1 and April 1 (recommended season for pool heat) if they would like the pool heated (optional, at an extra charge). The location is excellent for all the Orlando attractions. House was very comfortable and the Pool and Spa were great. I would definitely stay there again. Price was in line with the accommodations and the management company was very responsive and answered
all our questions promptly.
