Description

This Excellent Vacation Home is of the Excellent Standard category. The villa is situated close to the US192 and Florida Turnpike, therefore only minutes to the Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World theme parks and some of the world’s best golf courses. There are supermarkets and dining both formal and informal close by too. Everything you could possibly need is close at hand. This villa offers free high-speed internet (wired and wireless) and free local and long-distance calling within the United States and Canada.

The villa has plenty extras to make your stay very enjoyable. It has been furnished to a very good standard. When entering the villa, you find the airy living room with ample daylight immediately to your left. Straight ahead you will find the breakfast table to your right and the well fitted kitchen to your left. Further down there is the spacious family room with large, 65" flat screen TV offering Netflix, Hulu and Youtube streaming capability, air antenna for all basic local TV channels, DVD player, and an X-Box 360 game console. The dining room (seats up to 4 guests) is to the left, accessible from the kitchen and the living room. The garage houses a slate pool table and electronic dart board, allowing you to play games with your family or friends, a nice break from the busy theme parks.


From the living room you have access to the Master Bedroom with King Bed, flat screen TV (on air antenna, for all basic local channels), walk-in closet and en suite bathroom with vanity, garden tub, walk-in shower and separate toilet. This bathroom also offers direct pool access. This direct pool access is a very convenient feature: step right from the pool deck into your bathroom, for a quick shower after that refreshing swim.

On the right side of the villa you will find the two other bedrooms. The first one has a Queen Bed with closet, and flat screen TV. Next to it there is a bathroom with vanity, shower tub and toilet. The second bedroom on this side has 2 Single Beds and a closet. The villa can sleep 2 more guests (bringing the maximum number of guests to 8) if the queen size sleeper sofa located in the living room is used.

The open kitchen includes a full size oven, built-in microwave, large fridge-freezer with ice-maker, waste disposal unit and dishwasher. There is also a full range of electrical appliances (such as an air fryer) and utensils – pretty much everything you could want in your home away from home.

The family room too offers access (through the sliding patio doors) to the inviting swimming pool. Pool deck chairs and sun loungers allow for late night, pool side relaxing on the spacious pool deck. Enjoy breakfast ‘al fresco’ on those sunny early mornings. The pool is warmed up through a solar panel system. No additional pool heating is available at this time.

Near the breakfast area is the laundry room where the washing machine and dryer are located. Iron and ironing board are present too.

As Excellent Vacation Homes is the local management company looking after this property 365 days a year, any technical or other issue is usually prevented before it even gets a chance to develop. But, our 24-hour cover service is always available should you require it during your stay. The villa is fully air conditioned for those very hot days and has reverse air for those colder days.

Step back in time. This felt like visiting a friend's really nice home when I was younger. The pool is a perfect place to hang out with friends and there are lots of fun floaties and toys in the shed. The design is nice - a door from the pool leads to a room with a private bathroom/shower and a closet with towels. There is a nice washer and dryer which is perfect for drying those towels or washing laundry during your trip. They include enough soap for a load or two. If you need more, stores are close by.
Another door (sliding glass) leads from the den to the pool. There are two dining areas on either side of the kitchen that each seat 4, but you can easily move the chairs from one to the other to all sit together. There is a piano in the formal sitting room. It was a nice surprise when my nephew played on this a bit. There is also a really nice pool table in the garage. This is the only part of the house without AC, so playing in there at night was nice.
The place is perfect for 6 to 8 people to visit. Relatively close to the Orlando airport, Disney & Universal parks, NASA Kennedy Space Center and Cocoa Beach.

This rental home has tons of potential. However this being said the home needs an update. The carpet should be replaced immediately. It is stained and stretched in many areas and dirty. All the bedrooms need new pillows and the king size mattress is worn out. Overall the house is tired and out of date. The pool area is fabulous. Tons of furniture and a beautiful pool and solar panels that heated the pool to a nice temperature. The neighbourhood is clean and quiet however a little far from the downtown action.

My family stayed here for a week and it was a wonderful experience. The home is just as it is shown in the photos. The home was very clean and had everything you need: a fully stocked kitchen, towels, a hairdryer, iron, bed linens, WiFi, smart TV with Netflix/Roku, game room w/pool table, comfortable seating for hanging around the home following long days sightseeing or visiting the parks. The rental company provided everything we needed for arrival and departure, hassle-free. We will definitely rebook this home for our future trips to Florida.

The house was clean and convenient to what we wanted to do. It was in a safe area and we felt comfortable. We were disappointed that no intial shampoo, lotion, etc samples were provided. The house is nice but is decorated and carpeted in the 50’s era. No pool heater. Very convenient for the airport-30 minutes from Disney.

Was very happy with the house had one draw back would still say fastest route to downtown Disney had dance competition was saying fastest route was interstate but took 45 minutes to get there. So lots of time on the roads and toll booths.

The house developed little black bugs on the kitchen counters and all over the master bedroom and bath while we were there.We only had snacks in plastic bags. The carpets were not vacuumed properly and the place needs a good cleaning. Expecially since it dark carpet and every little thing show up very clearly when not properly care for. Towel were like sand paper. The drains in the house all drain slow so you were standing in your dirty shower water by the time u finished. The kitchen sink cabinet underneath smells from water damage and mildew. Carpets need to be stretched wrinkles it. The place just needs some tlc. The location is 1 hour from Disney etc. traffic is awful.

Property was an older villa type home with many amenities. All appliances worked. Home was clean and tidy. Pillows were worn but plentiful and you could double up. Bedding was adequate.Pool was clean and solar panels helped with temperature. Plenty of pool furniture. Needs to add a grill for poolside cooking. Furniture was comfortable and there abundant room for guests to relax.

The house was as described an it provided you with all of the essential. My family and I love it the pool was wonderful and the area was nice and family orientated. Also, they did not have a barbeque on the premises, and they staff advised me that they have a company that rented them. I arrived Friday and left the on Monday. This place is great for those trying to avoid all the parks traffic and congestion.

We do realize preferred mattress firmness is a very personal things, so unfortunately something we can not always please each and every guest with, yet many guests staying at this wonderful home are returning guests so the majority must feel they are comfortable to them. And yes, as explained via phone when you were here, that small puddle must have been from an automated defrost cycle, as the next day you called us back to cancel the quickly planned appliance repair company's visit, as the puddle had not returned overnight. Was the perfect setup for our family. Close enough to the parks and just far enough away to get some quiet time. Management was great at responding. We had let them know there was an issue with the dryer and the next day they had a new one installed. Place was clean with a great setup to have the kids on the other side of the house from the master. Neighborhood was safe and quiet. Grocery stores were close.

Cute home, great pool and close to shopping and the parks. Price is right for what you get. Home is a little dated but it works. Kitchen is not fully stocked for those that want to cook (no crockpot, no 9x13 pans and no grill). Big comfy couch in the family room was nice but we pulled a lot of items out such as trash and clothing from past clients. Also master bathroom the paint is peeling pretty bad and the wall needs cleaned up. That is why they don't get a 5 for cleaning. It was a nice week, thank you :)

We felt so comfortable walking into the nicely prepared house in a quiet neighbourhood. The front room was very welcoming with its couch and chairs and very nice Yamaha electric piano.

The house was clean. Everything was prepared so nicely and professionally for our arrival. There was even dishwasher and laundry soap left for us, and a few supplies from prior renters that were appreciated.

Questions and minor problems were taken care of quickly by the staff at EVH. Twice they sent men out the same day we contacted them.

The pool was excellent, the solar heater works very well, keeping the water always at a nice, warm temperature.

I would recommend this house without hesitation. We found the location convenient to the airport, SeaWorld, and freeways to get to either coast. Get a Sunpass while there if you are going to drive much.

The minor caveats I would tell a friend are these:

- There was only one HDMI cable and when we arrived it was looped to both inputs of the TV, so it helps if you understand how to move the cable between the cable box and DVD player so you can enjoy high resolution video on both. It would be nice if they got a second HDMI cable so both could be hooked up.

- The sectional couch has electric foot rests on the ends. There is a small button on the side that you might miss (as we did).

- Be prepared for the alarms mounted atop the pool doors. It is a bit startling if you don't know they are there. We shut them off while there and turned them back on when leaving.

- The trash and recycling bins are outside the house, not in the garage, but conveniently out of sight on the side of the garage.

- There is no stereo. Bring headphones if you want music.

Clean, well kept, nice location, we had a great time. The only caveat would be the two twin beds are better for kids. The mattress on both beds were uncomfortable. The queen and king beds were perfect. About 15 minutes from Disney without traffic which can add up to 45 minutes. Definitely plan accordingly. Thank you.

It was the best vacation we've had in a long time. One of the main reasons was because of the house that we rented. My parents and another group stayed at the wyndom resorts at disney world. When they came to visit us they were jealous and shocked when they saw the place. It was very nice, clean, spacious, it felt like home! We took a mini vacation for memorial day weekend checked in on Thursday and out on Monday and had a great time the home was excellent and the pool was awesome we enjoyed our stay very much . The only thing we were disappointed in was that the lawn was not mowed but someone came on Saturday and mowed it before we left on Monday . Our vacation was awesome we will come back and stay again .

The Lakeside retreat is very spacious, well equipped and comfortable. With a pool, two TV's, games, books and a piano there is a lot to do. The green water in the pool is a bit odd, but always nice to dip in after a hot day. Still a relatively long drive to the attractions. The electronic key system seems nice but is so sensitive that it always took some time to open the door. Would have preferred normal key.

We live in ohio so we got there alittle early and were allowed to check in.which was great we had two little ones also they had everything we needed. We saved so much money by cooking right at the house. There was 7 of us and had plenty of room for everyone. I definitly will be recommending this house to family and friends and will use it again when we go back to florida. The pool was nice clean and warm my daughter loved it. A great experience for us.

From the time of booking the house right up to arriving, I was very pleased with Kristine and her team. The house was very clean inside and out. The house is very well maintained, the pool very clean;but the pool solar heat never came on, at least I never felt the water warm. One of the kids mattress needs to be replaced ASAP in order to use it. But in overall our family like the house itself, very clean, very good furniture, perfect A/C, nice and quiet neighborhood.

I stayed 2 weeks at this place was great home to stay for vacation I didn't need anything everything was availbale in the house I just did a groceries and food shopping and the staff at the management office were great espacialy kistine.its a good place to stay

This was my first time renting a house for my vacation and I must say it was a great experience. I have no complaints and my kids really enjoyed there time.

Very happy with this house and great pool.
Very convenient to airport, only minor downside,
was that there were very few restaurants nearby.

House was just what we needed. The piano an added bonus. Have recommended to several people.

Only problem was the sliding glass door that needs new rollers. Other than that it was great.
